Beverage Display Refrigerator: Planning Seasonal Promotion Changeovers

Plan seasonal beverage promotions with packaging checks, trial shelf layouts, aligned labels and a clear return to everyday displays.

Translate the promotion into an assortment

Start a seasonal promotion with a list of retained, added and discontinued drinks. Record the dimensions of bottles, cans and multipacks, including changed packaging. Give purchasing, replenishment and checkout teams the same start date, end date and responsible contact. Define the assortment change before rearranging the display.

Trial the bottle and can mix

Test the layout with actual packs. BaoNier’s beverage cabinet uses regular shelving and glass-door display; check tall bottles, wide packs and clearance during removal. Follow the specific model’s shelf adjustment instructions, load limits and loading boundaries. Review how the arrangement looks and works after individual items have been removed.

Keep regular products easy to find

Define a clear promotional section while keeping regular drinks easy to locate. Do not rely on similar packaging colors to communicate which products qualify. Align names, pack sizes, selling units and promotion conditions with checkout information. Explain combination-purchase conditions clearly before customers reach the till.

Plan temporary handling during changeover

Arrange suitable temporary storage and a handling sequence before changing the display. Respect each product label’s storage requirements. Work in sections: count outgoing stock, prepare positions and add checked promotional goods. Keep cartons out of aisles and do not wedge doors with packaging. Follow the equipment manual for cleaning or shutdown.

Use observations to review the display

Record recurring gaps, returned multipacks and positions needing repeated tidying. These observations do not prove that cabinet layout caused a sales change. Compare them with sales and stock records: gaps may reflect supply or replenishment, while misplaced packs may indicate confusing neighboring sizes. Avoid drawing conclusions from a single observation.

Close the promotion consistently

At the end of the promotion, update labels, signs and internal location plans together. Confirm the destination of remaining stock before restoring the agreed everyday layout. Follow store rules for remaining multipacks rather than splitting them while retaining inaccurate information. Record completed and outstanding changes for the next shift to check.

Use the findings in equipment discussions

If the same handling problems recur, share actual pack samples, layout photographs and specific observations with the supplier. Use BaoNier’s beverage cabinet page as an introduction and confirm model details separately. Consider assortment and site conditions before adding equipment. Keep separate everyday and promotional layout records for future changeovers.
